How should I store platinum bars?

For safe home storage, keep platinum bars in an airtight, waterproof container to protect them from moisture and damage. If you’re storing multiple pieces, separate them and wrap them in plastic bags, acid free tissue paper, or soft cotton or tear-proof bags to prevent scratches.

Are the 10-gram platinum bars brand-new or pre-owned?

We have a variety of 10-gram platinum bars that are both brand-new and pre-owned. You can sort through our platinum bars in terms of their condition by using our filter on the left-hand side of the page.

Do platinum bars come with a certificate of authenticity?

In some cases, yes, but this isn't the case for all platinum bars. A bar's authenticity is proven by a number stamp, generally ranging from 850–999.9. This references how many parts per thousand are pure platinum (giving the purity of the bar). These hallmarks make it very hard to counterfeit platinum bars, meaning certificates aren’t needed.

Can I reserve a platinum bar online and collect it in-store?

Yes, absolutely! Simply add the item to your basket and select Click & Collect at checkout. From here, you'll be able to select your local store to collect your new bar of platinum.
