Our new gold, silver and platinum bars under 100g are generally protected with sealed assay packaging. We take pride in every detail, right up to the moment your new bar arrives.

Before we sell any pre-owned bar, our in-house experts run checks to ensure the precious metal is genuine and of the highest standard.

Are your 1 oz gold bars new or pre-owned?

Our selection features both new and pre-owned 1 oz gold and silver bars. We clearly outline the condition of each bar in the description so you always know exactly what you're buying.

You're always welcome to visit us in-branch to assess the condition of your favourite item in person. If you prefer to find a unique, antique piece, we also have a fantastic selection of pre-owned coins.

What is the purity of your 1 oz gold, silver and platinum bars?

All our minted bars are approved for exceptional purity. You can expect:

- Gold bars with the highest level of fineness, 24-carat purity.
- Fine silver with purity of 99.9%, or sterling silver of 92.5% purity.
- Platinum bars with purity of 99.95%.

Do your 1 oz bars come with a certificate of authenticity?

Certificates of authenticity are not issued with every bar. Many smaller bars, like our 1 oz and 50g gold bars, are supplied in sealed assay packaging. This works just like a certificate and clearly shows the purity, weight and serial number.

On some larger bars, the important details are stamped directly onto the metal. This usually happens during the minting process and includes the refiner's logo and a serial number. These unique markings are formally recognised across the globe.
