H&T Pawnbrokers to offer free Valuations Day in Caterham
26th August 2015; Caterham: H&T Pawnbrokers is holding a free and independent valuations day on Saturday 19th September from 9am to 4pm, at Caterham Soper Town Hall, Harestone Valley Road, Caterham, CR3 6HY.
A panel of valuation experts from H&T Pawnbrokers will be on hand to provide information, background, and advice on a wide range of items including jewellery, diamonds, gem-stones, art, antiques, and electronics.
John Nichols, CEO of H&T Pawnbrokers commented: ‘If you have ever wanted to know what that inherited item of jewellery, painting, or antique is worth, come along to our Valuations Day and find out. Our specialists have over 100 years’ experience in their fields, and also include a trained gemologist and a horologist’.
David Whiting, Store Manager of H&T Pawnbrokers in West Croydon, said: ‘We’ll be able to talk to you about what your valuable is made of, its history and saleability. You can take your item home with a better understanding of its background and value. Otherwise, you can choose to sell it or find out more about pawnbroking and how it works. Lots of people don’t realise that a pawnbroking loan can be a way to unlock the value within your asset and get access to cash - without selling your valuables’.
On the day there will be food and drinks on sale to raise money for national cancer charity, Macmillan. H&T Pawnbrokers is supporting Macmillan in many of their 190 stores nationwide this year and have already raised over £6,000. The pawnbroking and secondhand jewellery stores are holding a range of activities including book, cake and plant sales; sporting challenges and exercise days; themed fancy dress days; and entertainment events.
