The history of the Rolex Oyster Perpetual
The Rolex Oyster Perpetual is part of the Oyster collection of watches by the legendary brand. Its name comes from its hermetically sealed, waterproof case. When the original Oyster was first launched in 1926, it was the world's first water- and dust-proof watch, making it a standout piece of watchmaking engineering.
