Social Media Marketing Executive

To own and grow the businesses social media strategy across multiple brands and platforms. As well as direct ownership of a number of platforms (namely Facebook) the successful candidate will also champion social media throughout our store estate of 182 shops.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creation and scheduling of relevant and engaging social and online content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube
  • Monitoring brand mentions, competitor activity and hot topics
  • Responding to engagement on social channels
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends and developments
  • Working with the content and marketing team to ensure social content is aligned with wider marketing output and complaint with relevant regulations (FCA)
  • Analysing the success of campaigns using Google Analytics
  • Contribute to post event analysis providing recommendations for new initiatives for the next campaign

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years¬†Social Media Executive¬†experience
  • Passion for social media and digital marketing
  • Analytical capabilities and experience using relevant tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Good attention to detail and strong grammar is essential
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office - particularly Outlook and Excel
  • Good copywriting skills
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
